A most agreeable place to stay, close to Wye Valley walks and Tinterrn Abbey itself; good views over the river. Quality of food and cooking at dinner was exceptional. Breakfast also very good.

We were initially offered a room with a window that didn't close! Quite narrow and steep staircases to get to the rooms.

A fabulous little hotel! The breakfast was delicious, the private off-road parking was convenient, and the room was absolutely gorgeous with its creaky floors and antique furniture. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and efficient, checking us in and out in seconds. Located in a beautiful village in a spectacular forested valley, it was a perfect getaway.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The facilities at the guesthouse were excellent, with a spacious room and a comfortable bed, perfect for a light sleeper like me. The location by the River Wye was stunning and provided a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The warm welcome from Marta, the owner, made us feel right at home. Additionally, the on-site restaurant served delicious food and the included breakfast was fantastic.

    Felt spoiled, no complaint.

the location was perfect, situated between a historic abbey and a picturesque riverside. the rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious, and offered stunning views of the river. the breakfasts were delicious and served promptly in a pleasant dining room. there were ample parking spaces available.

The plumbing in the guesthouse was a bit noisy, which could sometimes disrupt a peaceful atmosphere.

The location of this guesthouse is perfect for nature lovers, as it is situated on a long distance walkway and offers stunning views of the river. Guests have praised the charming and comfortable rooms, with one reviewer mentioning the ensuite as small but functional. the warm welcome from the friendly staff and the variety of books and games available in the lounge area add to the overall positive experience. Guests have also highly recommended the sumptuous breakfast.

The exit from the car park may be a bit daunting due to its location on a bend in the river and road.

The location by the river was stunning and made for some lovely walks. The dinner at the hotel was delicious and had a great variety of options for both vegetarians and carnivores.

The rooms were quite tired and in need of renovation. The lack of effective lighting in the bedroom and limited electrical sockets were also notable drawbacks.

The value for money at this guesthouse was excellent - comfortable beds, great coffee making machine in the room, and delicious homemade biscuits. The location was quiet, overlooking the river, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming.

Food for breakfast could have been improved with a better selection of spreads.
